Winters and our surrounding area has become a great destination for recreation and outdoor activities. Bicycle enthusiasts find Winters a great beginning and ending place for full day rides. Putah Creek Walk and Nature trails (the entrance is on Putah Creek Road just east of Railroad) are gentle retreats. Lake Solano has camping, fishing, and paddleboat and canoe rentals. Lake Berryessa offer boating, kayaking, fishing and wildlife. Fabulous wildlife viewing can be done at the Cache Creek Nature Preserve. Outdoor hiking through Stebbins Cold Creek Canyon is waiting for you to climb the trails.
