Welcome to the Winters Chamber of Commerce

WINTERS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

ABOUT US

Our Chamber of Commerce is Enthusiastic About Winters

Greetings to All! The Chamber of Commerce was organized to serve the entire business community in every corner of Winters. This dedicated service includes economic sustainability, continuously building upon a vibrant environment of long term prosperity for all members and as a community.

These enterprising tasks can only be accomplished with the full participation of the membership and an energetic board, members and staff.  The Chamber’s boundaries stretch well beyond downtown, with members in neighboring cities, rural areas, home based businesses and a variety of businesses of every size and category.

Specifically, the Chamber’s program of work extends into the following:

Events: The Chamber sponsors the annual Earthquake Festival in August, Recognition of business leaders and outstanding citizens at the Annual Citizen of the Year Dinner and Installation in January, coordinates with other groups to conduct visitor friendly events and programs throughout the year, including assisting local merchants on the first Saturday of each month for the “Winters Walk.”

Exposure: The Chamber works with the Yolo County tourism board to expose all that Winters offers to readers throughout Northern California.
The Chamber office responds to a myriad of telephone calls and e-mails from interested prospective visitors inquiring on our shopping, restaurants and programs for day tours.  Members receive communication on activities and chamber matters through the monthly “Chamber Chat” newspaper article and e-mails from the office.  The Chamber also exposes city and county elected officials on issues impacting the business community.

Education: The Chamber of Commerce is constantly looking into our future with active involvement in high school student programs. A complete list of programs and activities are available by contacting the office.

Encompassing: The Chamber’s monthly mixers are hosted by a Chamber member and open to everybody. The social gatherings provide an excellent opportunity to network with all the other Chamber owners and operators plus they are fun.  Contact the office for the location and join us on the second Monday of each month.

The benefits of membership grow every day and remember members invest in their business community rather than merely paying dues.
